BRIEF DESCRIPTION

A former purpose built artist's studio Grade II listed apartment building refurbished to a contemporary standard with a traditional touch.
The complete refurbishment included internal alterations to both levels of the flat allowing it to retain its functionality as a residential dwelling.

  • Kitchen was relocated to the existing elevated platform in the dining room area.
  • The storage area was reconfigured to a modern utility room.
  • A small study and a separate WC was created.
  • A separate WC access via the hallway has been allowed on the second floor.
  • A partition has been installed to separate the staircase from the main reception room.
  • The area under the stairs has been opened to the room.
  • The existing door for the Master Bedroom has been relocated to the top of the stairs.
  • Two ensuites have been formed in the existing Master En suite location.
  • The main bathroom has been altered to allow for the creation of storage space within a second bedroom, and to allow for an upgrade of facilities.
  • Emergency access to the terrace has been added.
